Communications and Engagement Officer
Morgan Hunt is currently working with a Local government based in South Derby in search of a Communications and Engagement Officer.
The role offers the chance to create engaging content using a range of tools and by developing strong stakeholder relationships.
Role: Communication and Engagement Officer
Contract: 4 month contract
Pay: £35 PAYE per hour
Location: South Derby
Key Responsibilities of the new Communications and Engagement Officer:
- Editing complex information into digital and offline content that is concise, accurate, relevant, and suitable for a non-specialist audience.
- Developing creative video content, including scripting, storyboarding, capturing, and editing content
- Creating engaging content using a range of tools and by developing strong stakeholder relationships.
- Handling crisis communication scenarios
Previous experience of the new Communications and Engagement Officer:
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Media, Digital and public relations experience.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a communications role in the public sector
- Experience using creative tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
