Interim Senior Marketing and Communication Manager
Morgan Hunt is currently working with a Charity based in Coventry in search of an Interim Senior Marketing and Communication Manager.
Role: Interim Senior Marketing and Communications Manager
Contract: 6 month FTC
Pay: £50,000 FTE
Location: Coventry- Hybrid working 2x times a week from office
Key Responsibilities of the new Interim Senior Marketing and Communications Manager:
- Create and lead the delivery of comprehensive marketing, public affairs, and campaign strategies, aligning them with the charities mission and objectives.
- Provide strategic communications and external affairs advice to the Senior Management Team, including preparation for public statements
- Oversee and manage the annual awards ceremony (in October) ensuring it remains as a flagship event in the sector calendar.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing Marketing & Communications team
- Act as a spokesperson for the Charity when required
- Oversee the implementation of the Charities public affairs strategy (led by PR manager), nurturing relationships with press, media, NGB marketing, and communications teams, as well as other stakeholders.
- Lead on crisis communications, developing and executing contingency plans in collaboration with the Senior Management Team.
- Collaborate with Senior Management Team to identify and drive income generation opportunities through marketing and communication efforts.
Previous experience of the new Interim Senior Marketing and Communications Manager:
- Have a Degree in relevant field.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing and communications role, ideally within the charity or non-profit sector.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent PR skills including an ability to manage a variety of tasks and projects at any one time, prioritising and planning work to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes on time and within budget
