Repairs Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Repairs Manager for a Glasgow based Housing Association. The role is temporary initially until January. Start date for the role will be ASAP.
The main aspects of the role will be to oversee the repairs and maintenance team on a daily basis and also to liaise with the main contractor. You will be managing a team of 6 repairs and maintenance staff.
Duties include:
- Manage repairs team
- Partnership working with the contractor
- Develop service/improvement plans
- Assist with developing new policies & procedures
- Liaise with other departments
You must have experience managing staff and also significant repairs/maintenance experience. Complaint handling will be a part of the role so experience in this and the ability to resolve complaints in a professional manner is essential.
