Maths Functional Skills Lecturer

• £182.70 per day (4 or 5 hour worth of teaching only expected)
• Start dates: January and February 2025

Morgan Hunt are currently looking for flexible Maths Functional Skills Lecturer's across multiple sites out in the community across Greater Manchester for a number of different positions.

There are a number of different positions, ranging from full time to part time opportunities for the rest of the academic year

The Client will try to work with the Tutor to fit the timetable around their schedule, the more flexible they can be, the better.

• Teaching Adult Learners out in the community
• FS English L1 &progression routes
• Q00017524 - Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics (Entry 2)
• Q00017534 - Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics (Entry 3)
• Full and part time opportunities available
• Ongoing contract rest of the academic year
• Milage/ public transport can be claimed if travelling more than an hour to venue

Responsibilities of a Maths Functional Skills Lecturer:

• Working in the Functional Skills Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the Organisation's standards of work
• Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students where required
• Delivering Maths Functional Skills across all levels

Requirements of a Maths Functional Skills Lecturer:

• A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
• Experience of delivering the subject.
• A Maths related Degree is desirable
• A current Adult DBS on the update service
