In this role, you will act as a coach and mentor, offering tailored support that stretches students to achieve their very best. You'll help set meaningful goals, track progress, and manage student wellbeing. You'll also play a crucial role in guiding students through their next steps, whether that's higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting motivational targets and completing student progress reviews.
  • Monitoring student attendance, academic performance, and personal development.
  • Supporting students with their post-college preparations and promoting engagement in extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborating with the wider Pastoral Tutor team and the Pastoral Leader to ensure every student thrives.

About You:

  • Experience delivering youth activities and supporting youth leadership and volunteering.
  • Familiarity with youth voice programmes.
  • Positive, adaptable, and highly organised with great time management skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, with an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
