The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A-Level Biology Lecturer to join a dynamic team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and effective Biology instruction to A-Level students, ensuring their academic and personal development. The role requires a strong understanding of the A-Level Biology curriculum, the ability to inspire students, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver high-quality lessons in A-Level Biology, following the curriculum guidelines and specifications.
· Provide academic support and personal tutoring to students
· Support learners to achieve outstanding results
· Ensure all lessons are engaging, accessible, and tailored to different learning style
· Provide individual support and guidance to students, addressing any academic or personal challenges
· Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
· Organise subject-related trips, visits, and outreach

Education, Skills and Requirements:

· A degree in Biology or a related scientific field (
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
· Experience teaching A-Level Biology, with a clear understanding of the relevant curriculum and assessment processes.
· Proven experience delivering high-quality Biology teaching
· Strong student-focused teaching methods and curriculum development experience
· A passion for inspiring learners and helping students achieve their potential
