Senior Electrical Inspector

Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a reputable social housing provider, currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Electrical Inspector to join their team.
You will be responsible for the day to day management and development of the department and team, by reviewing and monitoring targets and activities carried out ensuring business objectives are met. Also, you will be required to make any adjustments or improvements to the targets to ensure an efficient and smooth running service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team to ensure a high performing culture and a commitment to continual improvement.
- Carry out technical pre and post inspections on electrical works delivered by various teams and contractors.
- Review for compliance electrical testing, commissioning and servicing certification for suitability and record remedial works for post inspection.
- Monitor and report on remedial work completed by external consultants and contractors.
- Line manage electrical post inspection staff, including carrying out regular one to ones.
- To support and advise staff involved with the accurate diagnosis of works, preparation of any specifications, schedules of works and other contract documentation.
- Follow and promote health and safety policies to ensure safety to yourself and others.
About you
- Must hold City Guilds 2391/2 and City Guilds 2381/2 BS7671 18th Edition or equivalent qualifications.
- Up to date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Full UK drivers license and use of own vehicle.
- Strong communication and written skills.
- CIBSE membership is desirable.
