Are you a Senior PMO Lead, looking for a new exciting, flexible role, to make a difference for a leading non-departmental public body?

£46,095 - £61,200 per annum (Civil Service Pension Scheme)

Permanent.

Very Flexible, Hybrid working.

The purpose of the role is to support the Digital and Service Delivery Portfolio at the organsiation.

You will be responsible for the oversight of the PMO functions including the set-up of the new capability, the development of PMO processes and the design and management of the governance approach.

You will manage a number of PMO Leads from across the portfolio, providing guidance on PMO best practice and conveying your expertise. This is an exciting time to be joining as the central Portfolio Management Office continues to expand and evolve!

Your role, as a Senior PMO Lead -

• Leadership of the Digital and Service Delivery Portfolio within the Programme Leadership Team.
• Development and Management of all PMO processes required to support effective delivery of the new the Digital and Service Delivery Portfolio.
• Design and implementation of PMO processes suitable for a scaled agile and a hybrid programme delivery approach.
• Setting up government frameworks from scratch.
• Contract management/ negotiation.

What you need to be successful as a Senior PMO Lead -

• Have a strong digital background, within the civil service or public sector.
• Proven and substantive experience in leading a Programme Management Office with strong knowledge and experience across all PMO functions including the design and management of: resource planning, financial controls and budgeting.
• RAID, programme configuration, quality and document and information management processes.
• Design, management and application of Programme planning and reporting processes, including the use of planning tools and software to support Agile.
• Experience of building relationships and influencing key programme members.
• Experience of managing external stakeholders, such as suppliers and holding them to account on contractual obligations (Stakeholder Relationship Management).
