Client
My client is a leading medical membership body based in London. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for the effective selection, implementation, development and support of business-critical organisation-wide IT systems.
Your Day to Day Roles & Responsibilities -
- Full lifecycle application and website development
- Designing, coding, testing and debugging of critical business and web applications in various programming languages.
- You will have experience in developing using PHP as well as working with full stack technologies including HTML, MySQL, JavaScript and CSS. You will be familiar with Object Orientated Programming and have experience in working in an Agile development environment.
- The development and maintenance of internally developed software solutions, observing industry coding standards.
- Take a lead role in the end-to-end delivery of new web and/or business systems including the requirements gathering, design, development and implementation in line with corporate strategy.
What you need to be successful -
- Experience in full lifecycle software development; discovery, implementation, testing and evaluation
- Experience developing web applications in PHP.
- Experience writing effective, efficient, and readable code within a development team.
- Ability to ascertain business requirements and turn these into real technical solutions.
- Experience writing effective, efficient, and readable code within a development team
- Experience working with agile methodologies
