Job Title: Stock Condition Surveyor

Location: Berkshire, Hertfordshire and West London

Salary: £200-£300 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join our clients Asset Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys on our housing stock, ensuring that we have an accurate understanding of the condition of our properties,identifying any necessary repairs or maintenance and working to help further enhance our residents homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stock condition surveys on our housing stock to assess the condition of properties and identify any necessary repairs, maintenance, defects and potential areas for improvements
  • Analyse survey data and provide recommendations to the investment team regarding necessary repairs, maintenance, and improvements to properties based on priority and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that repair and maintenance work is carried out to a high standard and within agreed time frames and budgets.
  • Utilize survey software and equipment to document and analyse survey findings.
  • Work closely with our investment team to develop a long-term strategy for investment in our properties.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction or a related field.
  • Previous experience conducting stock condition surveys, preferably within the housing sector.
  • Knowledge of housing standards, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
