We have a current opportunity for a Substance Misuse Support Worker on a straight permanent basis. The position will be based in Wolverhampton. For further information about this position please apply.
The role of a Substance Misuse Support Worker you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
This role will be due to start ASAP!
As a Substance Misuse Support Worker no two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key. You'll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you'll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.
Requirements of a Substance Misuse Support Worker
- Proven track record of case management
- Worked with Opiate cases before
- A full enhanced DBS check issued within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Needs to be based in or around the Wolverhampton area - the office is city centre based but will require some travel
- Available to start ASAP
