We have a current opportunity for a Systems Development Manager (M365) on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Glasgow for our public sector client. This role will be Hybrid working of 2 days on site and 3 days from home.
Salary: £47000-54000

The role;
Manage the support, development, implementation and maintenance of business systems that operate across the administrative, teaching and research functions of the university in accordance with agreed company objectives. Responsible for corporate scale systems and services supported by the central Information Services Directorate and used campus-wide by all stakeholders. Responsible for line management of staff, system support and development, project management and working with stakeholders at all levels to implement processes and systems which improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation.

Skills/Experiences Required;
Detailed knowledge of software development practices, lifecycles and methodologies.
Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies: PRINCE2, Agile.
Working knowledge of business process analysis methodologies, e.g. Lean.
Working knowledge of service management best practice methodologies, e.g. ITIL.
Excellent knowledge of business and planning tools, e.g. MS Project, MS Visio, Jira.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies: M365, SharePoint, Power Platform.
Substantial experience managing corporate systems support and development, to include the following:
design, development, rollout and maintenance of organisation-wide business systems; working with stakeholders to identify development requirements and deliver solutions; analysing business processes and delivering improvement; managing software development teams; managing stakeholder and user engagement; managing product support of live systems.
Experience of introducing solutions built on Microsoft platforms.
