Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is a health care provider, which specialises in the delivery of pre-hospital critical care across the Midlands counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, the West Midlands and Worcestershire. We deploy rapid lifesaving medical teams to the scene of an incident via three air ambulance helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars. The charity also delivers community and education programmes, with all activity serving the needs of the growing Midlands population of six million plus people.
About the role
We are now recruiting for a new role which will be responsible for income generation and brand management. The Head of Fundraising and Marketing will lead a multi-disciplinary team to support the ambitions of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Group by driving income sustainability and growth.
As part of realising our plans, the deployment of a strong brand is key within the communities we serve. This role will lead on ensuring this is achieved throughout our six-county region both person-to-person and across the online environment. A key focus will be on maximising fundraising income streams via a portfolio of sources. Additionally, there will also be other exciting income related projects in line with our growth plan.
This position is full time, 37.5 hours per week, and provides a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional who wants to make a difference to the lives of many across the Midlands region, by raising the £10m plus per year needed to fund our life-saving missions. The new role will join the charity at an exciting time, as the organisation embarks on a capital project, which will future proof the charity for decades to come.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced leader in income generation, fundraising and marketing and will be hungry to develop income opportunities to drive the Charity forward. The role requires an effective and strong communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, to work with internal and external stakeholders, with responsibility for coordinating business as usual activity and integrated campaigns.
You will join a friendly and inclusive team. Our office hours enable flexible working, with 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. (Please note: 4 days are pre-allocated to 1 x birthday day off and 3 x for Christmas shut down).
