CURRICULUM TEAM LEADER - ENGINEERING

Location :- South Yorkshire . North Nottinghamshire

We have a vacancy within an FE College who are looking for a Curriculum Team Leader in our Engineering Department with a responsibility for day release apprenticeships across all engineering pathways.

A successful Curriculum Team Leader in engineering will deliver engineering qualifications at all levels and will be responsible for overseeing the day release apprentices in the work place and be fully responsible for onsite assessing staff.

Our client is looking for Fabrication & Welding experience but would consider other vocational specialisms within Engineering.

This is a real opportunity for a passionate and innovative teacher and industry-skilled specialist to create your own 'Centre of Excellence' within engineering.

As a Curriculum Team Leader in Engineering, you will coordinate and lead engineering apprenticeship programmes and will deliver around 720 hours teaching per annum, completing the relevant preparation and marking that supports this.

Our client would expect SMART assessment and strong personable skills to motivate and mentor students to reach their full potential.

You will also supervise other assessing staff within the engineering department and have some performance management responsibilities working closely with Curriculum Manager in Engineering.

You will have a supportive team including leadership from our Curriculum Manager, and working alongside other Curriculum team leaders and lecturers within the college. This established team of education

professionals deliver engaging practical and digital study, leading our future students to gain high quality industry standards.

You would be required to have an industry specific engineering qualification to a minimum of level 3 , a teaching qualification (PGCE , DTLLS) and either hold an assessing qualification ( D32 ,A1 , TAQA ) or be willing to work towards this type of qualification.
