Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Executive Support on a part time permanent basis with a hybrid working pattern for BMET College.

Key accountabilities

  • Work as part of the Executive Support Team to provide high quality administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and cover absence where necessary
  • Support effective time management through complex diary management
  • Ensure full briefings for meetings, providing notes, summaries and action checklists as appropriate
  • Support projects as required
  • Undertake research and analysis of data to prepare reports and papers
  • Create financial/statistical information using spreadsheets and utilise college reporting systems as required
  • Manage correspondence
  • Receive visitors and organise hospitality
  • Co-ordinate Events
  • Manage, organise and update database applications as required
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minute meetings and monitor action completion
  • Maintain records
  • Deal with telephone enquiries
  • Organise travel
  • Maintain stationery supplies

Qualifications, experience and competencies

  • Level 2 English Language and maths
  • Relevant qualification at level 3 or working towards
  • An alignment between interests and experience and the requirements of the role
  • Highly IT literate across the suite of Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly developed ability to understand, analyse and present data
  • Highly developed ability to develop concise and accurate written content including but not limited to briefing documents, minutes, action plans, reports, letters and emails
  • Able to operate on own initiative with sound judgement
  • Organised and able to effectively plan work to ensure delivery whilst adapting when priorities shift
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and influence a diverse range of people
  • Highly customer service and continuous improvement orientated.
