Recruitment and Onboarding Assistant - Staffordshire

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Recruitment and Onboarding Assistant based in Staffordshire.

The role will be responsible for the co-ordination of the recruitment & selection processes including effective recruitment, onboarding, induction, and probation.

  • Salary c.£25k
  • Permanent - Full Time
  • Enhance DBS will be required

Role Recruitment and Onboarding Assistant

  • To co-ordinate all recruitment activities including producing and posting job adverts using our preferred supplier and our own job site, communicating effectively with prospective candidates, and recruiting managers as directed.
  • Conduct administration of any occupational testing, invitations to meet us/complete tests, references, offer letters, contracts, reject letters and payroll forms are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Monitor probation and inductions making sure they are kept updated.
  • Provide reception services to the HR Team, including triaging incoming enquiries, updating personal files, arranging meetings/interviews for the HR Officers.
  • Provide absence cover for the HR Assistant who is responsible for providing administration support to our Occupational Health Practitioner, the co-ordination of absence management and DBS processes

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience of working in a high volume environment, managing multiple priorities and working at pace
  • Strong administration skills
  • Experience of working with databases to capture and report on information
  • Knowledge and experience of recruitment and selection processes and practices
  • Experience of producing recruitment and contractual employment documentation
  • Experiencing of communicating effectively with staff at all levels providing a basic level of HR advice and guidance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full range of HR processes
  • Experiencing of communicating effectively with staff at all levels
