Job description
Solihull College & University Centre is on a mission to transform the role of digital technology in learning. To achieve this, we are looking for a pioneer, with a track record in digital innovation, to lead us on this journey.
You will be an experienced and creative individual, with the capabilities to lead and develop Learning Technologies within the College. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to lead services, develop engaging and innovative digital learning solutions which support the growth of the organisation and its people.
Reporting to the IT Director, the role will be responsible for Learning Technologies, Open Access and Libraries. The role will require pioneering approaches, which link to strategy and key stakeholders to deliver learning experiences and resources which support and enable digital elevation across the College.
You will be qualified to Degree level or hold a relevant professional qualification and / or have experience in the relevant subject area. You will have sound working knowledge of EdTech in Higher and Further Education, developing and managing digital solutions including VLEs, e-learning resources and have the ability to be front facing and inspire staff and students.
Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply. Unfortunately, the College is unable to contribute towards the associated travel costs.
