Here at Halesowen college, we have invested in state-of-the-art facilities. We recently opened a brand-new Cyber Security and Networking Laboratory where learners can use their knowledge to prevent IT systems from attack, a high specification Esports facility where learners will begin a career path into a multibillion-pound industry alongside engaging in the British eSports league for Team Halestrom and our VR and AR Labs.We have an amazing opportunity for an exceptional digital lecturer, or a trainee lecturer, to join the team and be part of a diverse and experienced department.
We would like to recruit someone who can inspire, whether from an industry or educational background. As a lecturer within the department, you will have the opportunity to deliver skills which include augmented reality, virtual reality, cyber security, ethical hacking, networking, software development, data analytics, IoT, hardware to name a few of the areas we deliver. As an inspirational lecturer, your excellent communication and teaching skills will enable us to support the needs of our region and enable us to become instrumental in the development of the digital skills required to make the West Midlands the heart of the digital world. We would like to further develop our adult provision and the right candidate would have an interest in working with adults as part of their role.
