Job description

Morgan Hunt's client based in Cambridgeshire is looking to recruit a specialist Civica Open Revenues, Revenues and Benefits Systems Administrator.

The main responsibility of the role consists of supporting the Revenues and Benefits Service by maintaining and administering the IT and procedural systems used across the department.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Use the Open Revenues ICT system
- Assist in maintaining all systems within Revenues and Benefits
- Ensure all systems used by the Revenues and Benefits Service are operational and functioning correctly
- Monitor system output and investigate as well as solve any discrepancies in performance
- Identify and rectify any faults that have arisen due to system error or user input
- Monitor all reported faults at regular intervals and ensure that they are escalated dependent on the priority of the fault
- Undertake and maintain system security
- Assist staff with system requests and generate reports to management in the process
- Assist staff with systems queries and resolve any problems or concerns that may arise
- Deliver systems training to new and existing members of staff across the Revenues and Benefits Department
- Fix, and report on, all encountered system failures
- Provide support on, and identify, system improvements
- Review processes to improve system efficiency and to identify system developments
- Install new system software releases upon completion of functionality and regression testing
- Maintain the Generic Process Interface (GPI) on the Civica Open Revenues system
- Set-up and monitor all batch processes and reports as well as the resolution of failed processes and reports
- Provide administrative control duties
- Undertake the Annual Billing process
- Provide relevant data regarding the Benefits Budget and Subsidy to enable Managers to analyse expenditure and income
