Grounds Maintenance Operative

Job description

Morgan Hunt are recruiting for several seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work across Birmingham or Coventry.

This role is seasonal from April to October, full-time, 37 hours per week
7.30am - 3.30pm with a 3pm finish on Fridays.
There is the potential for these roles to become permanent!

Responsibilities of a Grounds Maintenance Operative include:

• Weeding
• Shrub bed maintenance
• Basic routine garden machinery maintenance
• Cutting grass and hedges
• Maintaining the grounds around social housing - communal gardens

Experience of machinery such as sit on mowers is ideal.

Hourly rate is £11.49 PAYE - £13.62 Umbrella

Travel around Birmingham or Coventry is required so a Driving Licence is essential!
Company vehicle will be provided.

A DBS check will be required.

Previous experience as grounds maintenance, gardener or landscaper is essential.
