Plumber

Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Plumber to join a social housing company working on properties across Northampton.

You will be going into tenanted, domestic properties so good customer service is essential.

Duties of a Plumber can include

• Responsive repairs - respond and diagnose plumbing emergency
• Able to effectively deal with all Plumbing basics
• Carry out additional trades - Basic Carpentry, wall tiling, patch plastering or guttering
• Able to assess responses carry out inspections - required to estimate repair and in charge on materials
• Participate in call-out emergencies on the-out of hours service the client provide
• Bathroom installations

Requirements of a Plumber

• Fully qualified NVQ level 2 minimum or equivalent in Plumbing or time-served
• Proven track record of working in Social Housing / Domestic properties
• Multi-skill is highly desired but not essential
• A clean driving license own van
• Asbestos awareness

This is a temp to perm role - you will be working temporary for 3 months then you will go direct with the company and be provided with a van.
Whilst temporary, pay is weekly and we can pay CIS/Umbrella.
