We have a current opportunity for a Drug and Alcohol Support Worker on a temporary basis, possibility of becoming permanent. The position will be based in Birmingham. For further information about this position please apply.

The role of a Drug and Alcohol Support Worker you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

This role will be a temporary post till end of April.

As a Drug and Alcohol Support Worker no two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key. You'll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you'll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.

Requirements of a Drug and Alcohol Support Worker

• Proven track record of case management
• Worked with Opiate cases before
• A full enhanced DBS check issued within the last 12 months or on the update service
• Needs to be based in or around the Birmingham area - the office is city centre based but will require some travel
• Available to start ASAP
