Residential Support Worker

Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Residential Support Worker on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Burton-On-Trent. For further information about this position please apply.

I am exclusively working with a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation centre who are looking for an experienced Support Worker, this role will include both day and night shifts, flexibility over 7 days is required. Shifts will be 3 days a week, 12 hours each.

Responsibilities of a Residential Support Worker

• Working knowledge of, following, and working to Care Plans
• Being a support of service users - being on hand when needed
• Carrying out routine health and safety checks
• Recording any incidents and making notes for the next shift workers

Requirements of a Residential Support Worker

• Ideal if has a proven track record of working in substance misuse
• Level 2 health and social care qualification
• Flexibility to work 3x12 hours shifts over the course of a week
• DBS on the update service
