Job description

Morgan Hunt are working with a Housing association based in Nottingham to find a Project Coordinator on a permanent basis. The role will be a mix of home working and office based - 2/3 days per week in their office 3 miles from Nottingham city centre.

The role

  • Tracking and reviewing progress and identify programme level risks and issues to highlight to the Head of Projects and Project Planning
  • Analysis of the Corporate plan, project and programme data to identify where dependencies exist, track and monitor these, for project and business impact
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder maps
  • Assists in developing effective procedures and processes for project delivery and corporate planning
  • Support the development of project and programme level plans alongside Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, providing support and challenge to ensure an effective plan is in place for project delivery
  • Provide analysis and high-level reporting on the achievements and movement of the Corporate plan. Pulling together information for reports, boards and governance forums.
  • Build relationships with the Portfolio team in Technology to ensure standardised approach to reporting and monitoring
  • Hold Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to account for timely and quality updates
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and interests
  • Communicate clearly through a range of channels
  • Manage your own continued professional development utilising available learning resources and opportunities
  • Make decisions on data and information to present to enable decision making; would be required to make recommendations to Head of Service.

Key Skills required

  • Experience of project and programme planning, with a good knowledge of techniques for planning and monitoring programmes
  • Proven ability to interpret data and provide appropriate insight
  • Advanced IT skills - experience of Microsoft Project and Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to write and analyse reports and identify trends to support decision making
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and sustain working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience of full project lifecycle
