Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Fire Safety Officer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Hertfordshire. For further information about this position please apply.
- Ensure that the effective delivery of all fire safety works are completed, to a high level of customer satisfaction and to a standard of legal compliance.
- Provide assurance to the Head of Property Services, Executive Management team and the Board on all fire safety compliance matters.
- To liaise with appointed members of the compliance team to ensure all identified fire risk assessment recommendations are completed within the stipulated time frame.
- To attend - chair fire safety meetings as required.
- Provide leadership and expert technical knowledge to manage compliance of all aspects of fire safety across all assets, ensuring that the services are maintained and improved.
- Ensure fire risk assessments, inspections and audits across all stock, including residential premises, and workplaces are undertaken.
- Develop and implement fire safety emergency plans and procedures for all residential, commercial and workplace premises
Salary: £40,000-£45,000
