We have a current opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Hertfordshire. For further information about this position please apply.
- Work closely with colleagues within the organisation, external bodies, legal teams, contractors, etc. to inspect cases of disrepair and damp, mould and condensation issues reported to the business.
- Undertake inspections creating detailed property reports and case files, drawing up specification of works, using NHF SORs or obtaining quotes, creating drawings and necessary documentation in consultation with occupiers, housing management and technical staff.
- Create robust monthly reports on progress of all active and closes cases to update Senior Management.
- Undertake post inspections to ensure issues have been effectively managed or removed to ensure properties do not fall into disrepair.
- Assist the Asset and Compliance Team in delivering on capital and revenue planned investment programmes
- Assist in providing support to the Voids Team, in times of annual leave or sickness
- Liaising with other technical staff, finance and housing management in relation to all disrepair and damp and mould cases
- Produce monthly reports with detailed cost analysis and trends monitoring case levels and responsible for all data collation to achieve best results from each case
Salary: £37,000-£40,000
