Progress Coach
Hours of work: 29.6 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
Weeks: Term time only, 38 weeks per year
Salary: £16,936 per annum (actual salary for 29.6 hours)
Location: Wakefield College
We have a fantastic opportunity for two Progress Coaches to join our passionate A Level team. The A-level department at Wakefield College is experiencing a period of significant growth and these are new roles to support student progress across their A-level subjects. Progress coaches will have a case load of students and will oversee and monitor students’ progress, their attendance, and their overall wellbeing. Progress Coaches will work alongside their tutees to ensure that each student is capable of realising their potential. Progress Coaches will work closely with A-level lecturers and the Head of A-level to support each student’s personal and academic development.
You should hold GCSE A*- C / 9 – 4 or Level 2 equivalent in English and maths and have experience of supporting students within an educational ment. In addition, you should have excellent communication and organisational skills. We are looking for someone who is supportive, engaging and has the ability to motivate and inspire young people to succeed and achieve their full potential.
