A prestigious further education college in Greater Manchester is seeking a dynamic and experienced English Functional Skills Lecturer with a strong background in teaching basic ICT. This role will be 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday (9-4) for the rest of the academic year, starting after half term (5 more teaching weeks).

Key Responsibilities: ???? Deliver engaging and interactive English Functional Skills lessons to ESOL profile learners, promoting effective communication, reading, and writing skills. ???? Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the development of students' language abilities. ???? Integrate basic ICT concepts into the curriculum, ensuring students acquire essential digital literacy skills. ???? Tailored lesson plans and teaching materials, catering to learners' individual needs and abilities. ???? Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. ???? Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements: ???? Relevant teaching qualifications, such as a PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent. ???? Expertise in delivering English Functional Skills to ESOL profile learners, including a thorough understanding of the English curriculum. ???? Strong knowledge and experience in teaching basic ICT concepts and applications. ???? Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of learners. ???? Understanding of inclusive teaching practices and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities. ???? Experience in creating and delivering engaging lesson plans and resources.
