We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our esteemed educational institution. As a lecturer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training to aspiring healthcare professionals, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their careers.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on a range of Health and Social Care topics, ensuring the curriculum meets the needs of students.
• Develop and update course materials, including lecture notes, handouts, and assessments, to ensure they align with the latest industry standards and best practices.
• Facilitate interactive and inclusive learning experiences, encouraging student participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students, offering feedback on their progress, and addressing any academic concerns or challenges.
• Supervise and assess student projects, assignments, and examinations, maintaining accurate records of their performance and achievements.
• Stay abreast of current developments and advancements in the field of Health and Social Care, incorporating relevant research and industry trends into teaching practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to review and improve curriculum content, contribute to faculty meetings, and actively engage in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A relevant degree or higher in Health and Social Care or Nursing.
• Extensive experience working in the Health and Social Care sector, preferably in a clinical or care capacity.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of key concepts, theories, and best practices in Health and Social Care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to deliver effective lectures and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
• A commitment to student success and a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Familiarity with educational technology and a willingness to incorporate digital tools and resources into teaching methods.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards within the Health and Social Care field.
• Teaching or training experience in a further education or vocational setting is essential
