£12.70 - £14.25 per hour

Job description

HR Officer (OD)

We have a current opportunity for a HR Officer on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Preston, it is full time on-site, paying £12.70-£14.25 per hour, maternity cover ongoing for 3 months.

Role - HR Officer (OD)

  • Supporting with the organisation appraisal process, ensuring PDP plans are actioned and objectives set
  • Ensuring that mandatory training has been completed across the organisation ready for the new academic year
  • Contribute to the organisation and delivery of Staff Development Days, arrange relevant meetings, and produce minutes/ action points for the Development plan moving forward into Autumn 2022
  • Ensuring communications with relevant colleagues about new starters are happening on a regular basis, monitoring compliance.
  • Assisting in the collation of information required for the Workforce Survey.
  • Leading on the Qualification Project to ensure qualifications are accurately stored and updated on iTrent
  • Assisting with the annual staff satisfaction survey and in receiving and sharing the results from the survey.
  • Responding to requests for data, statistics, and management information reports on a range of HR/OD metrics

Skills and Experience

  • CIPD level 3
  • Experience of working in an HR or Training function
  • Excellent Administration skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately take notes/ action points/ minutes
  • Ability to process data to a high standard
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and within agreed deadlines
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and external agencies
