Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisor - Liverpool

We have an exciting contract opportunity available for an experienced Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor working for a well-known University based in Liverpool.

The major focus of this role is to contribute to the on-going implementation of the University's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) priorities and action plan ensuring EDI is embedded in all staff and student functions.

  • Contract to August 2023
  • Immediate start
  • Full Time with Hybrid Working
  • £35,000 - £42,000 p.a.

Role - Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisor

  • To provide specialist EDI advice and guidance to staff and students
  • Support and undertake in key University-wide EDI Projects.
  • Deputise for the Head of EDI as may be required
  • Lead on identifying EDI initiatives and activities to achieve the University-wide priorities and action plan.
  • Identify strategies for the effective implementation of the University-wide Equality, Diversity and Inclusion priorities and action plan.
  • Identify other areas of under-representation, draw on best practice to develop, promote and implement initiatives and interventions to address these areas.
  • Deliver presentations and, where relevant, attend and support meetings across the University

Skills and Experience - Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisor

  • Experience of delivering equality and inclusion strategies
  • Experience of providing high quality, specialist equality and inclusion advice to colleagues at all levels of an organisation
  • Implementation of EDI initiatives
  • HE experience would be highly desirable
