£20 Per Hour

Client:

My client is a leading Housing Association based in Manchester who are looking for an IT Support Officer. Your main objectives of the role are to play a key role in developing and delivering technological improvements and to produce insightful data analysis and present it in a meaningful manner. You will support staff using all staff in using ITC equipment and provide a range of IT related administrative duties across the Association.

Your Role:

• You will provide first & 2^nd line support of IT systems for all staff across the business and liaise with third party IT support to ensure IT issues are resolved quickly and any improvements identified are implemented in a timely manner.
• You will trouble-shoot problems and provide solutions, across operational systems and processes. Provide training and guidance to staff for current and new computer systems.
• Provide user management, including user creation, password setting and dealing with permission issues. Participate in the development of the IT service consistent with the needs of the organisation.
• You will support the IT Manager in ensuring cyber security controls are in place.
• Produce and track key performance indicators on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Identify errors and inconsistencies in data and recommend and implement relevant action.
• Understand the structure and content of the SDM database to produce valid information from the data.
• Prepare reports and other output for internal and external audiences.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the IT strategy.
• Play an active role in key IT projects including project management and act as a key liaison between software developers and staff.
• Identify areas of improvement - including streamlining and automation of operational processes across all departments.
• In conjunction with other duties, to provide general administrative support across the organisation, under the supervision of the IT Manager.

What you will need for the role:

• IT support experience in an office environment
• Experience of leading projects and improvements across an organisation
• Experience of management information reporting
• Experience of using MS Excel to analyse data
• Experience of querying databases using SQL
• Experience of supporting SIP telephony systems
• Knowledge of Office 365 and Windows Server administration
• Ability to communicate IT information effectively to other members of staff and partners
• Understanding of data analysis and able to identify trends and patterns in data
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
• Able to produce complex, quality reports, working to a deadline.
• Able to demonstrate good organisational skills.
• Identifies continuous improvements within IT systems to benefit the association's core business.
• SQL database skills

In Return:

£18-£20 Per hour
