Morgan Hunt are currently working with a facilities provider based in Bristol, in their search for Kitchen Porters. The role is an exciting opportunity for a kitchen porter who has experience within the Public and Education Sectors.

As a kitchen porter and assistant, you will help assist the kitchen team and provide a high standard of service. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas are kept clean and sanitary, as well as reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the appropriate persons.

Hours: 07:00 - 20:00

Shifts: 4/5 per week

Contract: Temporary Ongoing

Pay: Weekly

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Washing up, cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas
• Provide a high standard of service to the site and maintain cleanliness in all areas.
• Basic food preparation
• Unloading and putting away deliveries
• Emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors
• Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
• Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
• Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
• Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organised
• Deep cleaning fridges and store rooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards

Personal Specification

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Experience working in a team environment
• Able to travel and work unsocial hours
• No facial hair, piercings or jewellery
