Store/General Assistant

Job description

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a College based in Bristol, in their search for Stores/General Assistants. The role is an exciting opportunity for a general assistant who has experience within the Public and Education Sectors.

As a Store Assistant you'll keep day to day business ticking over by serving a range of products in our convenience store, including coffee, hot food and making sure our store runs smoothly by accepting deliveries, rotating stock and maintain retail standards.

Job Type: Temporary

Hours: Monday - Friday, 06:30 - 11:45, 10:15 - 15:30 or 06:30 - 15:30

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages.
• Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment
• Cleaning service and seating areas
• Accepting deliveries
• Rotating stock and ordering more when low
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
• Servicing customers and taking orders
• Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
• Receiving and processing customer payments

Personal Specification

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment
• Enhanced DBS (we can process one if needed)
• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Experience working in a team environment
• Able to travel and work unsocial hours
• No facial hair, piercings or jewellery
