• Induction: an excellent induction programme with face-to-face welcome events to help you settle in and to learn about how Dorset Council works
• The Learning Hub: access to our interactive learning experience platform, The Learning Hub which provides video content, bitesize learning as well as eLearning modules which you can complete as and when it suits you
• Coaching: in-house coaching and mentoring available to all
• Children’s Services Hub: connects employees to the work of Children Services
• Nexus: booking system for face-to-face (virtual) training
• Stop the Clock: sessions provide teams with time to stop and reflect on practice using a list of suggested topics and resources
• Research in Practice and CCInform: academic research and practice developed into a range of resources and training
• Workforce Wordout: Our weekly newsletter on the latest news, articles and training
• Thinking Thursdays: 1-hour virtual sessions on various topics, offering peer learning and group discussions
• The Academy: virtual centre for social care and front-line practitioners to access learning in particular topic areas
• Career Progression and Leadership Pathways: A plan to advance in a profession or organisation and a clear path to leadership roles
• Post Graduate Qualification(s) Offer: The opportunity to pursue advanced studies after obtaining an undergraduate degree
• Opportunity to Mentor NQSW's: The chance to guide and support newly qualified social workers in their professional development
