Job Type: Temporary (Full-Time Hours)
Hours:
- Monday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
- Thursday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
- Friday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
- Pay Rate: Competitive, depending on experience
- Start Date: ASAP
Morgan Hunt is working with a leading Further Education College in Birmingham, looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to deliver courses in:
- Early Years Education & Care Level 2 Diploma
- Supported Teaching & Learning Level 2 & 3 (CACHE)
- Working with Children Level 1
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the relevant Health and Social Care and Childcare curriculum.
- Support learners in achieving their qualifications and progressing into employment or further study.
- Prepare learning materials, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback.
- Track student progress and contribute to internal verification and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of learners.
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) - essential
- Relevant subject qualification at Level 3 or above
- Experience delivering CACHE-accredited qualifications
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
