A leading Top 20 Law firm with Global offices across London and EMEA and Asia is seeking a Conflicts Lawyer/Analyst to support their Global Offices within the Office of General Counsel

Conflicts Lawyer/Analyst you will protect the firm and their clients on New Business Intakes across Global jurisdictions.

The Role

Conflicts Lawyer/Analyst based in London; your responsibilities would include:

• Managing conflict checks on every new enquiry globally to identify and resolve both legal and commercial conflicts of interest.
• Review every new client and matter opportunity through analysis of internal and external information sources and advise partners globally in relation to conflicts and information barrier management.
• Advising partners and lawyers regarding conflict check results, processes and policies.
• Liaise with the Financial Crime team on the Matter Risk assessment.

The Person

The requirements for the person for the role Conflicts Lawyer/Analyst based in London are as follows:

• As a minimum Law degree, ideally LPC
• Minimum of 12 months experience with a Law Private Practice with exposure to Conflicts
• Understanding of the legal and professional regime applying to conflicts of interest and confidential information
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
