International Tax Manager - Professional Services - Manchester or Leeds (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + discretionary bonus of up to 10%

Pentagon Talent are proud to be partnering with one of our longstanding clients, a leading global law firm, who are seeking an International Tax Manager to join their in-house tax team. This opportunity is based in either Manchester or Leeds, with excellent flexibility and a desirable hybrid working pattern.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced International Tax Manager with a strong background in international corporate tax, Pillar 2 and Transfer Pricing to join a highly regarded professional services organisation. The role offers genuine exposure to advisory projects across global operations.

The Role - International Tax Manager

As International Tax Manager, you will be responsible for both advisory and compliance matters across a range of international jurisdictions, with the majority of your work focused on advisory. You will partner with finance colleagues globally and play a key role in shaping the firm's tax position.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality international tax advisory support on global projects.
• Leading on Pillar 2 implementation including planning, disclosures and filings.
• Supporting Transfer Pricing documentation and cross-border structures.
• Advising on permanent establishment, mobility and withholding tax risks.
• Overseeing compliance processes in partnership with local advisors and finance teams.

Candidate Profile - International Tax Manager

To be successful in this International Tax Manager position, you should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent); a tax qualification is advantageous.
• Strong international corporate tax experience, ideally gained within a Big 4 or large professional services environment.
• Expertise in Pillar 2 and Transfer Pricing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, solution-focused approach to international tax challenges.
