Legal Cashier

Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Cashier to join their high-performing Finance team based in Glasgow.

As a Legal Cashier within a global practice, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) and internal policies, whilst delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all domestic and overseas payments of funds from both client and office accounts.
• Complete client bank reconciliations to agreed timetables.
• Post appropriate ledger entries for all client and office funds receipted into the firm's bank accounts.
• Monitor and action transfers between client and office accounts in line with SAR and internal procedures.
• Support with Money Market, Treasury and FX transactions.
• Deliver a professional, efficient and friendly service to all internal and external clients, ensuring service standards are maintained.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across the firm and with external contacts.
• Review and maintain balances held on client accounts.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as required to support the finance function.
