β° Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 3-month temporary cover
π· Pay: Β£16-Β£22 per hour (Umbrella)
π· Pay Rates - Dependent on Direct Recovery Experience
- Less than 12 months: Β£16-Β£18 per hour (Umbrella)
- 1-3 years: Β£18-Β£20 per hour (Umbrella)
- 3+ years: Up to Β£22 per hour (Umbrella)
π About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker to join a multi-disciplinary team, supporting service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
πΌ Key Responsibilities
π€ Support service users from initial engagement through to recovery.
π Complete screening, assessments, risk assessments and recovery plans.
π― Manage an allocated caseload and monitor service user progress.
π¬ Use motivational interviewing and recovery-focused approaches.
π Coordinate care and make appropriate onward referrals.
π± Promote recovery, resilience, independence and social reintegration.
π‘οΈ Provide harm-reduction advice, including overdose prevention and Naloxone support.
π₯ Develop links with recovery, mutual-aid and community groups.
π©Ί Work with prescribing clinicians, GPs, health services and partner agencies.
π Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and safeguarding requirements.

π Experience Requirements
- Experience working within drug and alcohol, substance misuse or recovery services.
- Experience working with opiate users is required/preferred.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults and managing a caseload.
- Experience with safeguarding, risk assessment and recovery planning.
- Direct recovery experience is preferred.
