Head of Conflicts

We are looking for a Head of Conflicts for a Top 50 UK law firm. This is the ideal role for a qualified lawyer who is already working at a senior level and looking for the next challenge. You will be based in the firm's London office and will immediately lead up a team of three people. The firm's preference is for a qualified lawyer with leadership and conflicts experience.




This is a permanent contract with a salary of £130,000 per annum.

The opportunity:

As part of this role, you will do the following:

§ Report into the firm's Risk & Compliance Partner

§ Conduct a review of all current conflicts processes

§ Use those findings in order to build up and train up your team of Conflicts Analysts over the next 3 years

§ Play a key role in ensuring the firm remains compliant

§ Identify & resolve conflict of interest & confidentiality issues

§ Play a key role in drafting out and updating key policies & procedures

§ Train and empower your team

§ Report in to the firm's management team and conflicts committee

§ Line manage the conflicts team




We are looking for:

§ It is essential that you are a qualified lawyer

§ 10 years of experience as a conflicts lawyer or equivalent within an international firm setting

§ An excellent leader

§ A problem solver
