Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Tower Hamlets, East London, is looking to recruit a TA Move-on Officer to cover a secondment for the role of assessing and facilitating the move-on accommodation needs of homeless households in temporary accommodation.
You will be responsible to ensure financial assessments, social and welfare circumstances are thoroughly evaluated.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.
Ideal candidate should must have the ability:
- To assessing the move-on needs of households in temporary accommodation, including financial, social, and welfare aspects.
- To support households with access to move-on options such as bidding strategies, qualifying offers, PRSO, and access to supported and specialist housing.
- To issuing statutory decision letters and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and Council policies.
- To negotiating with landlords to ensure accommodation is affordable and facilitating viewings and sign-up arrangements.
- To maintaining and updating relevant systems to ensure enquiries and cases are progressed efficiently and set targets are achieved.
- To collaborate with Procurement and other teams to ensure timely use of properties and minimizing financial loss.
