Job Description
As a Media Lecturer, you will be required to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students. The role will involve creating a cohesive learning environment, developing lesson plans and assessing student progress.
Key Duties of a Media Lecturer:
- Deliver high-quality Media lessons to students.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and learning materials.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Provide assistance for students' academic and personal development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and achievement.
- Work with colleagues and attend team meetings as required.
Skills & Experience Required of a Media Lecturer:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) is essential.
- Experience in delivering Media.
- A strong comprehension of the challenges faced by learners in further education and training.
- Ability to create engaging and varied lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A dedication to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in education.
- Enhanced Child DBS- An enhanced DBS check with a child barring list check will be required for this role.
