About the Role




As Curriculum Lead: Creative Media (Games Focus), you'll be front and centre delivering outstanding education with a strong emphasis on game design and development. Reporting directly to the Curriculum Manager, you'll lead curriculum innovation, mentor teaching staff, and help craft the next generation of gaming professionals. Think of yourself as the final boss of inspiration. Paying up-to £40K!




What You'll Do:



  • Lead the Creative Media curriculum with a focus on game design and development
  • Deliver up to 21 teaching hours per week mostly game-related
  • Mentor and support fellow educators to raise standards across the board
  • Drive curriculum development and keep it fresh, exciting, and industry-relevant
  • Stay plugged into emerging tech, trends, and tools in the games world
  • Cultivate creativity, collaboration, and student success. No cheat codes allowed







What We're Looking For:



  • A teaching qualification (obligatory, we're still an academic institution)
  • Experience teaching at FE level
  • A knack for curriculum design and a hunger for innovation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with games design software and digital media
  • A commitment to continuous professional development (even XP points need leveling up)




The Tools of Your Trade:



  • Substance Painter
  • 3ds Max
  • Blender
  • Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop)
  • Microsoft Office & other essential digital tools (Excel formulas may not save you, but they're handy)
