
Accounting Coordinator
Pentagon Talent are partnering with a well-established international law firm that is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join its Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis in London. This role offers hybrid working in the London office.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Administer the London payroll in conjunction with senior finance and HR colleagues.
- Assist with monthly payroll journals for multiple international offices and upload them to the firm's finance system.
- Produce year-end payroll reports such as P11Ds and PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSA).
- Submit monthly payments not handled by the outsourced payroll provider (e.g. Childcare Vouchers, Give as You Earn).
Finance Operations
- Support the submission of VAT returns for various European offices.
- Prepare manual journals for VAT adjustments and assist with annual tax submissions.
- Complete national statistics surveys and respond to audit requests.
- Manage invoice processing and related tasks using the firm's financial systems.
- Provide assistance with ad hoc finance requests and project work as required.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in payroll is essential.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with finance systems such as Aderant or ADP would be an advantage.
- A university degree is preferred, and prior experience within a law firm or professional services finance function would be beneficial.
