Responsible for: No direct reports, matrix management of contact and procurement colleagues as required to deliver on the procurement and contract management of properties


Job Purpose

• To lead the procurement and management of cost effective, quality and suitable accommodation for those who are homeless.
• To ensure there is a supply of accommodation that meets the Council's statutory duties.
• To develop and maintain relationships with property providers, including registered providers, private sector landlords, developers and other types of landlord.

Lead on the development and delivery of the homeless accommodation procurement and supply approach, ensuring it reflects the market and demand position.
