A fantastic opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and skilled Business Lecturer to join our academic team in Oxford. This temporary role offers both part-time and full-time positions, delivering engaging and career-focused content to learners studying Business up to BTEC Level 3.
You will collaborate with a supportive and experienced team to plan and deliver high-quality theory and practical sessions that equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in business environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Business Level 2 and Level 3 programmes
- Develop lesson plans and learning materials that reflect current industry standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support students' academic and personal development
- Contribute to curriculum development and review processes
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Participate in course team meetings, staff development, and internal quality processes
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student achievement
Candidate Profile
We welcome applicants who are:
- Educated to degree level in a business-related discipline
- Experienced in the business sector with current industry knowledge
- Effective communicators with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Passionate about teaching and supporting learner success
Desirable but not essential:
- Teaching qualification and/or previous experience in an education setting
- Willingness to train and engage in continued professional development
