Location: Surrey
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: 12-month fixed term (potential for permanent)

Are you an experienced and compassionate leader with a background in supporting vulnerable communities? We're seeking a dedicated Service Manager to oversee and develop high-quality outreach services supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse.
About the Role:
As Service Manager, you will play a vital role in the strategic and day-to-day management of outreach services, ensuring delivery is efficient, effective, and aligned with best practices. You will manage a team of outreach staff, oversee safeguarding procedures, contribute to funding evaluations, and represent the organisation in multi-agency settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of outreach services
- Manage and support a team of 5-7 outreach staff, including supervision and appraisals
- Ensure services meet performance targets and quality standards
- Oversee safeguarding procedures and support staff in managing concerns
- Contribute to policy development and maintain compliance with legislation
- Work with leadership on strategy, data reporting, and funding submissions
- Promote the service through partnership working and training delivery
What We're Looking For:
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and service delivery
- Experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse or similar vulnerable groups
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and risk management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage budgets, monitor impact, and contribute to reports
- Compassionate, resilient, and committed to equality and inclusion
- Full driving licence and access to transport
Desirable:
- Knowledge of domestic abuse services, welfare rights, housing, or family law
- Experience in preparing funding bids or working in the voluntary sector
