About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join our team in Oldham on a full time, permanent basis. We operate on a hybrid working basis which offers the opportunity to work 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Specific days to be agreed during the on-boarding process.You will lead the Payroll Team and work with Payroll providers and external third parties to deliver an effective and accurate payroll for all Guinness employees, including pay, benefits, and pensions. You will work to agreed service standards and adhere to approved policies and processes and legal or regulatory requirements.

Head of Adult Education (Technical, Professional and Commercial)
36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £42,560 - £45,952 per annum
An opportunity has arisen to develop, lead and manage a high-quality and responsive adult technical, professional and commercial curriculum to meet the local and regional skills needs. This is a new post and part of our dynamic approach to meeting local and regional skill need. The post holder will need to be self- starting and ambitious for growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have experience of developing curriculum for adults and good understanding of the local demand for skills and knowledge of funding streams. They will be able to work in a fast-paced ment, responding and maximising opportunity. They will hold a relevant first degree and teaching qualification and have experience of delivering and of monitoring the quality of teaching, learning and assessment to enhance the student experience. Director of Estates and Facilities
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£60,000 per annum
City College Norwich operates over a number of sites, the largest being its campuses in Norwich, Easton and North Walsham. The estate comprises a range of buildings from state of the art digital, arts and engineering buildings, through to modern teaching blocks, farm properties and listed buildings. All of which provide great learning facilities for our students and apprentices.
This key role will have prime responsibility for managing the delivery of estates and facilities services to students, staff and visitors through the provision of support and strategic leadership of services including property, facilities and outsourced services. The postholder will also maximise the opportunities to access project funding to ensure that the estate and facilities of the College continue to meet the needs of the curriculum and its students.Applicants will be educated to degree level and possess a management qualification, as well as having experience of managing estate/sites, facilities management teams (in-house and externally contracted), health and safety, managing building projects and negotiating with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic oversight and delivery of the College estates strategy, managing the in-house estates team, ensuring statutory buildings/estates compliance across our campuses, overseeing our main outsourced contracts (cleaning, caretaking, grounds and catering) and ensuring that campus service functions continually offer value for money.
