We are currently looking for a Learning Technologist to join our e-learning team at Walsall College. You will be responsible for providing technical support and training on a range of college systems and classroom technologies and will support innovation in the use of technology across all curriculum areas in support of the College’s digital strategy.
You must have a positive and enthusiastic manner as you will deliver workshops, training sessions and support materials that showcase how technology can be used in teaching, learning and assessment, both in the classroom and online, so being a confident communicator is essential to succeed in this role.
Supporting the development of digital skills for both staff and students using a range of learning strategies and frameworks, you will be expected to provide advice and guidance to curriculum teams on a range of general and more specialist software, including Moodle, Office365, virtual reality and other EdTech tools and therefore knowledge is these areas are essential.

We are looking for a Content and Social Media Coordinator. You will help the team design a social media strategy and develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand, increasing web traffic and customer engagement to support the achievement of the college’s strategic and financial targets.
The post holder will be an experienced creative, content and PR communications specialist, with excellent writing skills responsible for the delivery of social media content, primarily focused at school leavers.
Whilst this post is predominantly focused on PR and content creation, it will also provide the post holder with a fantastic opportunity to gain experience as an all-round marketer, supporting the team on events and production of marketing collaterals.
Enthusiasm, creativity and organisation skills are fundamental to this role. You must be passionate about marketing and have a keen eye for detail to analyse data and spot trends.
